how do you describe and define friendship?

Based upon through my own experience I believe that Friendship means "One who understands Silence"
I am always silent if I have a problem and especially if I can vibe that my problem have no solution. I always keep my problem to myself. I always tell people that Friendship can also mean "One who comes in when the whole world has gone out" another meaning of friendship for me is "One who multiples joys, divides griefs and whose honesty in unbreakable."
I have base this meaning on my own experience...
How about you guys, How do you define and describe Friendship?
People and Friends today are sometimes untrustable?
Do you think your friends are real and no doubt to be honest with you?
Have you ever have any experience like someone break a friendship with you just because of a silly reason?
